在这款最新资料片中，玩家将有机会使用最新出场的种族兽人(Orc)。新资料片中的全新出场单位包括哥布林(Goblin)、独眼巨人(Cyclop)等。全新的战役、全新的多人游戏模式也将出现在这款新作中。
在《英雄无敌5：东方部落》这个新扩展版中，兽人是最大的一个种族。实际上，兽人这个凶残势力曾经在《魔法门：黑暗弥赛亚》(Dark Messiah Of Might And Magic)中出现过，现在它们第一次进入到《英雄无敌》最新资料片的世界中，很显然能吸引更多游戏迷们的尖锐目光。首先最出众的地方是新增加了许多好玩的作战单位，比如像人们一贯喜欢的独眼巨人(Cyclops)和相当出名的Pao Kai势力，不过所不同的是它们在这里将会使用兽人种族在战斗中渴望得到的许多新魔法符咒，大型建筑物和更新颖的战斗风格。
